Jill
trained as an image consultant in 1991 with
First Impression’s, the UK’s leading
training company. This followed a career in
Local Government when Jill gained excellent
communication and people skills and an understanding
of how to get the best from every client and
how to deliver information in sometimes very
sensitive situations.
Jill is very much a people person who enjoys
the buzz of helping others to feel confident
and motivated. She is a lively and entertaining
speaker and, as a Corporate Associate of First
Impressions, Jill has successfully undertaken
many varied and interesting projects for the
company presenting on all issues relating to
personal and business image.
This
year Jill is celebrating fifteen years in the
image industry and has worked with men and women
from all walks of life, including those who
have found themselves long-term unemployed.
Having
noted Jill’s experience in this area,
the BBC asked Jill to contribute to a documentary
series called ‘Career Boot Camp’
where she worked with seven young men who had
never had a job, helping them with their personal
image and preparation for interviews. Six of
the group secured jobs.
Jill
is an Affiliate Member of The Federation of
Image Consultants.
